People from non-English speaking countries tell me that English is a HARD language to understand...not so much from a textbook standpoint, but from the colloquial viewpoint. It's important to keep in mind that people not native to the langauge to which you are accustomed have a difficult time deciphering the phrases not commonly found in the language dictionary. For example: "Flat" in the UK is an efficiency apartment. "Touk" in Cambodia is a tourist. "Bloke" in Australia is slang for a man. See how confusing this can be to an "outsider?" I'm working on catching English phrases before "letting the cat out of the bag." Mike
